ytd choir had to go to siglap south cc to learn our syf set piece. took bus 12 there with yeekei, binghao, shawn, wensiu, nicholas, pinlang, randy. reached there on time though we left late den saw a whole grp of ahsc ppl outside de cc. oso duno y dey dun wan to go in.. but after awhile we were told to go in cos nelson kwei said so. yupp there were lyk 6 schs? anglican, catholic high, chung cheng main, commonwealth, tkss, victoria. had combined warmups den kwei made us sing by section. de guy alto and sops fm de boy schs were superb man. high notes so good. kwei made us sight sing de set piece. we did ok lar although there was NO rhythm at all. haha. split for sectionals aft dat. so all de altos fm all de schs went to de conference room place for sectionals. had to take the stairs de other side cos there was this unknown huge brown bird with a long beak at de closer staircase. haax. tk sl was very good. it was practically lyk ah and tk dominating. haax. cos only ah n tk sl taught. de rest jus stand there and zou4 bo2. went bak to de main place aft 1 hr den combine de song. quite nice. but beating still off so kwei made us sing by level. sec3s did de best (lyk duh.. if we didnt dunno how kwei will kill us). 1145 went for lunch. ate pizza hut. group of choir students sitting beside us were very childish. (not naming which sch for not embarrassing them). they were actually pulling de cheese from their plate n comparing whose cheese was longer. diaox... walked bak to cc cos we very full. had combined sectionals within our own schs. was very pek with de guys la. simple part can sing wrong. repeat so many times liao still cannot get it. was damn angry. first time so angry with combine. didnt really finish combining de song but had ta go back cos no time liao. we had to go up stage sch by sch to perform de set piece. damnation. we were not ready yet den kwei still say whether wan to go up by alphabetical order. lyk dat confirm we up first rite. but he called ah pres n vs pres to scissors paper stone to decide whether it's de proper or reverse alphabetical order. we lost n had to go up first. our singing was very bad. beating oso off but managed to pull thru de whole song. cat high was good as usual. de rest were still not quite there lyk us. nelson kwei loves precision. he wans us to get all de beatings precise. everything oso mus be precise. he oso so precise that he let us off at 3.30 sharp, which was de supposed timing. took bus 12 home. drank slurpie. ate hotties. :)
